Lokayukta raids underway at various places in Karnataka

Bengaluru: Lokayukta police are conducting raids at the premises of government officials in various parts of the state.

The raids began early on Wednesday morning. There are reports being conducted at Chikkamagaluru, Kalaburagi, and Ramanagara.

In Chikkamagaluru, Lokayukta sleuths are conducting searches at the properties of Nirmiti Kendra project manager Gangadhar.

In Kalaburagi, searches are reportedly underway at the properties of Sharanappa Madiwalar Assistant Director of Planning Branch of Raichur Urban Development Cell of Alanda Taluk of the district on Wednesday morning.

Similarly, in Ramanagara, the Joint Director of Agriculture Department K H Ravi is under the Lokayukta scanner.

The searches by the anti-graft agency were reportedly prompted by allegations of disproportionate assets amassed by these officials.
