Lokayukta Vishwanath Shetty to visit Udupi on Nov 22

Udupi: Lokayukta Justice P Vishwanath Shetty will be visiting Udupi district on November 22, informed sources.

It is gathered that during his visit he will be holding a meeting of the Lokayukta officials at Udupi Circuit House at 9 am.

He will later inaugurate the library building of Vaikunta Baliga Law College. He will also visit BCM hostels, Anganwadi centres and PHCs in the district, informed sources.

Justice P Vishwanatha Shetty is a retired Karnataka High Court Judge. Justice Shetty has also been a senior advocate in the Supreme Court. He had represented Karnataka energy minister DK Shivakumar and former mining baron G Janardhana Reddy before being appointed as Karnataka Lokayukta.

Justice Shetty comes from Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka. He has also be a a Bar Council nominee in the Press Club of India.
