Lonely woman found dead under mysterious circumstances

Kundapur: A lonely woman living in a tiled house was found dead under mysterious circumstances on Friday March 1st.
The deceased woman is identified as Gulabi Mogaveera (55), wife of late Nagesh. She is survived by two sons of whom the elder son is settled in Mumbai while the younger is working in Bengaluru. Gulabi was selling fish since more than two decades for a living.
Gulabi sold her fish on Thursday and hale and hearty, but on Friday morning her corpse was found in her own house. The police visited the spot on receiving information from the locals and carried investigation.
Corpse to KMC
Fingerprint experts have visited the spot and collected vital information. To clear suspicions, the corpse has been sent to Manipal hospital for autopsy. All doubts related to the death will be cleared on receiving the post mortem report.
Murder for Gold?
Locals acquainted with the deceased woman inform that she would always be wearing a chain, earrings and bangles made of gold, but incidentally the jewelry is missing on the corpse. Hence, there is a suspicion that she may have been murdered for the gold.
