Lord Bahubali Paadabhisheka to be held on Feb 9

Belthangady: On the occasion of the 41st Vardhantyutsava celebration of Lord Bahubali idol, D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala will perform padabhisheka with 216 kalashas to the monolith of Lord Bahubali at Ratnagiri at Sri Kshetra on February 9.

A ’agrodaka procession’ will be taken from the residence of Heggade to Ratnagiri prior to the rituals.

Lalitakirti Bhattaraka Pattacharya Swami of Karkala Jain Mutt will deliver the religious discourse.

On  February 2nd, from 9 am to 4 pm, religious rituals like Torana Muhurta, Vimanashuddhi, Shodasha Kalashabhisheka and Naandimangala will be held at Ratnagiri.
