Lorry-car collision: Wife of retired DySP dies on spot

Bharamasagara: In a tragic lorry-car collision on NH 4, the wife of a retired DySP died on spot, here on Monday.

The deceased is identified as 63-year-old Latha.

Reportedly, she is the wife of retired DySP of Excise Department P Jayaram Naik, who is 73 years of age.

As per the sources, the Maruti Swift car in which Latha was travelling from Bengaluru towards Davangere had rammed into a lorry at Kasavanahalli. Due to the impact, Latha died on spot.
