Lorry hits three vehicles at NH 75

Bantwal: A lorry driver lost control and hit three vehicles a KSRTC bus, Bolero jeep, and an Innova car here on Friday.

The incident took place at Kudrebettu near Kalladka at (NH) 75.

The Innova tumbled 15 feet off the road and got caught under the lorry.

The eight persons who were in the car had a miraculous escape with only minor injuries.

The occupants in the Innova were travelling from Panemangaluru, to attend a wedding. The tipper, which was moving towards Mangaluru, first hit the KSRTC bus going to Puttur. Then hit the Bolero jeep and collided with the Innova.

The police informed that the injured had been admitted to a private hospital at Thumbe.
