Lover Affair Provokes Father to Murder his Minor Daughter, Her Lover in Belagavi

Belagavi: A middle aged father murdered his daughter and her lover on Wednesday night at his residence and later surrendered self to the police at Savadtti in Belagavi district of Karnataka state. The accused Yellappa Bhimappa (45), spotted his 16 year old daughter Rukmavva in the company of her boy friend Manjunatha Padesura (20) and which provoked him to murder them by an axe.
According to the sources, both Rukmavva and Manjunatha were in love affair for the last two years. Earlier, the parents of the duo convinced the them that they shouldn’t continue with their affair as the girl was a minor. There were rumors that the duo secretly continuing their affair even after the warnings of their parents. On Wednesday night, the boy was arrived at girl’s residence to meet her and unexpectedly girl’s father woke up and found his daughter accompanied by her lover. Provoke by the presence of his daughter’s lover, the accused murdered the both on the spot.
