LS Polls – BJP releases its 2nd candidate list: Chowta to contest from DK, Kota from Udupi

BJP announced its second list of candidates for the Lok Sabha Elections, including Karnataka, on Wednesday.
The list contains nominees for 72 Lok Sabha Constituencies.
In Karnataka, many MPs have managed to get tickets despite the opposition.
Capt Brijesh Chowta has been fielded from Dakshina Kannada, Kota Srinivas Poojary from Udupi-Chikkamagaluru, whereas Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje has been named from Bengaluru North. Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar has been nominated from Mysore.
Former Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai has been fielded from Haveri.
Here is the list of 20 candidates from Karnataka:

- Bangalore Rural – Dr. C.N. Manjunath
- Udupi Chikmagalur- Kota Srinivas Poojary
- Chikkodi – Annasaheb Jolle (incumbent MP)
- Bagalkote – PC Gaddigouder (incumbent MP)
- Vijaypur- Ramesh Jigajinagi (incumbent MP)
- Kalaburagi – Dr. Umesh Jadhav (incumbent MP)
- Bangalore North – Shobha Karandlaje
- Dakshina Kannada – Captain Brijesh Chowta
- Bangalore South – Tejasvi Surya
- Mysore Kodagu – Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar
- Tumkur- V. Somanna
- Davangere-Gayathri Siddeshwara (Wife of incumbent MP Siddeshwara)
- Bellary- S Sriramulu
- Shimoga- B. Y. Raghavendra
- Chamarajanagar -S Balaraj
- Koppala-Dr. Basavaraj Kyavator
- Dharwad – Pralhad Joshi
- Bidar – Union Minister Bhagwant Khooba
