Lucky draw held to select ‘Taranga Uagadi Dhamaka-2023’ winners

Manipal: The lucky draw of the ‘Taranga Ugadi Dhamaka-2023’ contest, sponsored by S L Shet Jewellers and Diamond House Hampankatte, was held at the Udayavani headquarters on Thursday.

Muniyal Ayurveda Group Director Dr. Shraddha Shetty and Guru Sandesh Shetty picked the lucky winners.

Dr. Sharaddha Shetty in her address said that Taranga, a popular Kannada weekly magazine, organized the Dhamaka competition as a means to further strengthen the bond between the readers and the newspaper. The magazine is known for its contribution to the intellectual and social upliftment of society through good articles on art, literature, education, food, tourism, and more, she added.

The transparent selection process of the winners will increase the trust and credibility among the readers, Dr. Shetty added.

The Managing Editor of Taranga Weekly magazine Dr Sandhya S. Pai stated that the editorial team, along with the contribution of all sections, readers, and writers, is very important for the success of the magazine. The Ugadi Dhamaka was organized with the aim of making the festival special for everyone.

Prashanth Shet of S L Shet Jewellers and Diamond House expressed his best wishes for the lucky winners.

Mr. Vinod Kumar, Managing Director, and Chief Executive Officer of Manipal Media Network Ltd., stated that Tharanga Weekly magazine has brought joy to the people of the state through the special initiative on the occasion of the Ugadi, which marks the beginning of the New Year and the season of happiness, joy, peace, and prosperity.

Editor of Taranga Weekly magazine Dr. U.B. Rajalakshmi delivered the introductory speech, while Vice President of Magazines and Special Initiatives Ramachandra Mijar compered and proposed the vote of thanks.
