M Deepa appointed as Dharwad Deputy Commissioner

Dharwad: M. Deepa took charge as the new Deputy Commissioner of Dharwad here on Wednesday. 

Outgoing Deputy Commissioner S.B. Bommanahalli, who has been transferred to the post of the general manager for rehabilitation and resettlement under the Upper Krishna Project, gave over charge to Ms. Deepa. 

Ms. Deepa is a post-graduate in economics from Bangalore University. She is an IAS officer of the 2008 batch. Prior, she filled in as Assistant Commissioner in Gadag, Chief Executive Officer of Belagavi Zilla Panchayat, Managing Director of the Hubballi-Dharwad Bus Rapid Transit System.
