Madhwaraj will not join BJP: CM Siddaramaiah

Mangaluru: CM Siddaramaiah rejected claims of Udupi MLA Pramod Madhwaraj joining the BJP party and lashed out at MP Nalin Kumar Kateel for making any unrelated statements.
Addressing the media at the Mangaluru International Airport, CM said confirmed that Pramod Madhwaraj will continue working as a Congress Party Leader.
CM Siddarmaiah said, “BJP is creating rumours on this issue Madhwaraj will not join BJP. Madhwaraj himself has clarified several times that he will not join the BJP.”
When questioned on MP Nalin Kumar’s statements of Pramod Madhwaraj joining BJP, CM raged out at him.
To a question on alleged privatisation of a government hospital in Udupi, Siddaramaiah said, “We are not privatising the hospital. It stays with the government. It will remain with the government and continue as a governement hospital.”
