An unfortunate incident unfolded in the early hours of Monday as a K.S.R.T.C. bus collided with the iconic statue of General Thimmaiah, situated prominently in the heart of the city. The collision led to the collapse of the statue, raising concerns among the locals and prompting swift response from authorities.
Reports indicate that the bus, en route from the depot to the bus station, veered to avoid a collision with a pick-up vehicle.
