Madikeri: Man dies after hit-and-run near Suntikoppa

Madikeri: A man succumbed to injuries following a hit-and-run accident near Kedakal village, Suntikoppa.
The deceased has been identified as Ballaranda Harish Thammaiah, a 55-year-old resident of Chettalli Abyala village, who was working as a writer at a plantation in Kedakal village.
He was reportedly hit by a speeding car while crossing the road after alighting from a bus on January 1. He was rushed to a hospital in Mangaluru but passed away on January 2 despite treatment.
