Madikeri: Thousands of devotees throng Talacauvery to witness ‘Cauvery Teertodbhava’

Madikeri: Thousands of devotees thronged Talacauvery (origin of River Kaveri) Temple dedicated to Goddess Kaveri at Bhagamandala on Monday, October 17, to witness the auspicious ‘Cauvery Teertodbhava’.
At the auspicious muhurtam of 7:21 PM on Monday, the ‘Cauvery Teertodbhava’ was witnessed.
Gold ornaments of Goddess Kaveri were ritualistically brought from Bhagamandala to Talacauvery.
The temple and its premises were decorated with flowers.
For the devotees to take a holy dip in the Triveni Sangam, the river was cleaned by the district administration.
Arrangements were made for the devotees coming by walk.
Lighting arrangements were made across the 8 km stretch from Bhagmandala to Talacauvery.
Vehicle parking facilities were made at Bhagamandala and Talacauvery.
