Madikeri: In a tragic accident, three tourists, who had gone for a swim in Kote Abbi falls in Mukkodlu village, met a watery grave on Sunday.
As per sources, the deceased were aged about 16, 18 and 36-year-olds from Telangana. Their identities were not immediately known.
The deceased were part of a group of tourists from Telangana who had come to Kodagu on a tour. They were staying at a homestay in Kashalnagar.
On Sunday, the tourists had gone to the famous Kote Abbi falls for a swim, when the tragedy struck. Though rescue teams were pressed into action, they could not be saved. The lifeless bodies of the deceased were fished out by the team.
