Madiwal murder case: High Court grants conditional bail to prime accused

Bengaluru: The Karnataka High Court on Friday, conceded conditional bail to the prime accused in the Sharath Madiwal murder case, Mohammed Sharif.
Hearing the bail plea filed by Sharif, Justice Michael D’Cunha noticed that the examining officers had neglected to give enough evidence against the accused. The bail was endorsed against a bond of Rs 2 lakh and the surety of two people. The court additionally guided the petitioner to submit an undertaking that there would be no tampering of evidence.
It might be reviewed that Sharath Madiwal, a RSS laborer had been ruthlessly assaulted by few miscreants at BC Road in the Bantwal taluk on July 4, 2017. Madiwal succumbed to his injuries three days after.
