Kalaburagi: BJP national general secretary CT Ravi said that the politics of appeasement will create more Pakistans and madrassas will start creating Talibanis in the country.
Speaking to reporters here, he said, “Ambedkar-drafted constitution will survive only if Hindus remain a majority in this country. If the Hindus become minorities, then the state that befell during the Gandhara period will return. This truth should not be forgotten by those who want to save the constitution made by Ambedkar.”
“The idea of equality is in our faith. When people with the same faith and ideals are in majority, equality, women’s freedom will continue. Otherwise, we will also be in the same position as that of Afghanistan,” he added.
“Engage in politics on the principle of country first. But the Congress has forgotten this principle and is comparing a nationalistic organisation with the Taliban,” Ravi said.
“When Siddaramaiah is not actively involved in politics, he gives the message to his supporters that the Congress should not win. The messages are sometimes direct and sometimes indirectly expressed through his followers. He intends that no election should be won under DK Shivakumar’s leadership. This time people will fulfil Siddaramaiah’s wishes,” he added.
“The Congress has been searching for new leaders for the past twenty years. The State president of the party did not even build his own team. Yet 4-5 people in the Congress are daydreaming of becoming the chief minister,” Ravi said.
