Magadi Road metro station to be named after Dr Rajkumar

Bengaluru: Bengaluru Mayor Goutham Kumar on Friday submitted a memorandum to the Managing Director of Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) to rename the Magadi Road metro station as Dr Rajkumar metro station.
On August 4, the BBMP Council had passed a resolution to rename the metro station in memory of the Sandalwood thespian.
The decision was communicated to the state government which consented for the name change.
Following this, Kumar met BMRCL MD Ajay Seth and submitted the memorandum to take further steps to rename the metro station.
