The first LGBTQ song in Tamil, portraying two women in love, has gone viral. Actors Gouri Kishan and Anagha play Bharathanatyam dancers in the song ‘Magizhini – It’s Not My Fault.’

Anagha appears in the song as a student who has recently relocated to Chennai. After her father discovers that she is a homosexual, Gouri’s parents are furious with her.

Their love tale begins when they meet at a Bharatnatyam class. They will shortly begin dating. Gouri’s father sends her away from their home after she spends the night at Anagha’s. Meanwhile, Anagha makes the decision to tell her mother that she has a crush on a girl.

Anagha consoles Gouri in the green room, and the duo performs Bharatnatyam on stage at the end of the video.

“Nobody chooses who they should fall in love with and none should be blamed for the ones they are in love with…This Song explores the fact that Love has been the same natural human emotion over the ages, no matter whoever is willing to fall in it,” read the song’s description.
