A 20-year-old youngster, who was allegedly trying cross over to Pakistan in order to meet his girlfriend was apprehended by the BSF about 1.5 km from the India-Pakistan International Border.

The boy identified as Mohammed Zishan, resident of Osmanabad, Maharashtra was found in a semi-conscious and dehydrated condition. Upon enguiry, Zishan revealed that he was madly in love with a girl named Samra from Shah Faisal town in Pakistan’s Karachi. He claims that he got to know Samra through social media and the two had been in touch on WhatsApp and Facebook. He further added that he was using Google Maps to travel from Osmanabad to Karachi via Rann of Kutch.

“Zishan was stopped at around 2100 hours on July 16 about 1.5 kilometre short of the India-Pakistan international border when he was attempting to cross over to Pakistan through the Rann of Kutch area,” a statement by BSF PRO in Gujarat said.
