Bengaluru: An FIR has been filed against those who protested outside the residences of Congress leaders over the Mahadayi river dispute.

It is said that a protest was held on February 14 opposing the Congress’s Goa election Manifesto in which the party promised to not allow Karnataka to avail the Mahadayi river water.

It was led by Dr Ravi Shetty Bendoor, state president of Karnataka state labor Parishad, Kumar of Nagamangala and K N Kumar.

However, as the protestors did not seek prior permission for the protest, a case has been registered against them based on a complaint given by head constable Manjunath of Sadashivanagar police station.
