MAHE again ranked number one private university by THE WEEK, EW

Manipal: Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, growing from strength to strength with each passing year has been ranked number one private university nationally for the fourth successive year in the just released “India’s Best Universities” edition of THE WEEK.
In the Hansa Research Survey of the magazine, MAHE is ranked 15thamong the all-India Multidisciplinary Universities. That is up five places from the rank last year. MAHE is top among the private universities in South and 6th in the multidisciplinary category in the survey.
There was good news for MAHE when the Education World announced the Indian Higher Education Rankings 2018-19. For the third time in a row, the C-Fore survey has ranked MAHE India and Karnataka’s number one private university. MAHE was the number one in the country on the parameters of infrastructure and facilities as well.
Reacting to the achievements, Vice Chancellor, Dr H Vinod Bhat said, “It is a moment of pride for us and it also shows the sustained level of commitment of the University administration in maintaining the high standards in academics and research. Just as we are waiting for the declaration of results of “Institution of Eminence” by the Union HRD Ministry, which can come any time now, I am very hopeful that MAHE will emerge as one of the 10 universities in the country to get this status”.
