​​​​​​​MAHE signs MoU with Int’l Committee of Red Cross Geneva

Manipal: A Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal with International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC)- Geneva in Manipal on Thursday. The MoU is aimed at sharing knowledge in niche areas where both partners look forward to multiple areas of collaboration.

Later this year, ICRC will, for the first time in the sub-continent, share its experience on Weapon Wounded in Surgery, a module designed for post-graduates and faculty in surgery and allied specialties. Other areas of cooperation proposed are joint conferences and seminars, innovations and humanitarian forensics.

Dr H. Vinod Bhat, Vice Chancellor Dr. Poornima Baliga, Pro Vice Chancellor, Dr. Narayana Sabhahit Health Sciences, Registrar Dr Pragna Rao, Dean of KMC Manipal, Dr. M.Venkatraya Prabhu, Dean of KMC Mangaluru and Dr. Raghu Radhakrishna, Director International Collaborations were present from MAHE at the MoU signing ceremony.

The Indian delegation representing ICRC Geneva was Dr. Anjum Soni – Deputy Medical Coordinator, Mr. Ashish Arora, Finance and Admin and Mr. Sushil Mate, Innovation Programme Officer.
