Major fire mishap averted

Dharwad: A major fire accident was averted in a multi-storeyed commercial complex here on Saturday, May 25.
As per the sources, the people and shopkeepers who noticed smoke in the basement of the complex alerted the fire personnel, who rushed to the spot and doused the blaze.
No one sustained burns or injuries in the incident. Soon after an alarm was raised, the complex was cleared of people, informed sources.
The complex, located near Jubilee Circle, houses over 50 shops.
