Make sure bandh is peaceful: Ramalinga Reddy

Bengaluru: The Pro-farmer and Pro-Kannada organisations have been asked to ensure the Bandh on January 25 is peaceful without any violence and disturbances to property or public.

Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy on Wednesday told the reporters that the bandh is been called favouring the state’s interest. The police have been directed to maintain law and order throughout the bandh. The leaders of the bandh are also asked to make sure that the bandh is peaceful and without any destruction.

He also added that the organizations and associations including government employees will participate in the bandh.

The bandh aims at pressurising Prime Minister Narendra Modi to resolve the Mahadayi dispute between Karnataka and Goa.
