Mangaluru: The third Additional Civil Court in Mangaluru will deliver its verdict on the Malali Masjid dispute on August 1, 2022.

A counsel appearing for the Assayed Abdullahil Madani Mosque administrative committee had objected to VHP’s demand for a court-appointed commission to survey Juma Masjid in Malali and requested the court to remove restrictions imposed on construction activity on the mosque premises.

Recently, a petition filed by VHP workers challenging the order of the Additional City Civil Court dated June 6 in the Malali Jumma Masjid case was rejected by the Karnataka High Court. A copy of the same was submitted to the court by the counsel representing the Muslim side.

Following this, the court decided to deliver the verdict on August 1.
