Mangaluru: Karnataka High Court has issued directions to the Third Additional Civil Court in Mangaluru prohibiting it from issuing any orders in the Malali Mosque case. The matter was posted for Friday.
After a temple-like structure was observed during the renovation of the Mosque at Malali on the outskirts of Mangaluru, Vishva Hindu Parishad had sought a court stay on renovation works. The stay was granted by the court in Manglauru.
The Mosque administration had appealed to the Karnataka High court for vacating the stay order.
Meanwhile, the lawyers representing VHP had sought a Gyanvapi-like survey of the structure found at the Mosque site.
