Male Mahadeshwara Temple in Kollegal Witnesses Flood of Devotees as Car Festival Begins

Kollegal: Historic Male Mahadeshwara Hill Temple witnessed heavy rush of devotees from various parts of Karnataka and neighbouring states who came to witness the three day long car festival which began on Friday.
The police lathi charged slightly on the devotees on Friday to control them systematically as they flooded into the temple premises in large number at a time. Many visitors including security personnels have been injured slightly in the crowd and have given first aid immediately. The car festival is continuing without any hurdles and has been attracting thousands of devotees from various parts of the country.
