Malpe: Case filed for unauthorized DJ use during Mehendi function

A case has been registered at the Malpe Police Station for the unauthorized use of loudspeakers and DJ equipment during a Mehendi event at a private resort in Kodavoor on December 18 night.
ASI Vijay K., who was on night rounds, received information about the event from the Udupi Control Room around 11 PM. Upon inspection, it was found that the DJ system was being played at a high volume beyond 11:30 PM without prior permission or licensing, causing a nuisance to the public.
Police seized the sound system, and a case was registered against the DJ system owner and the private resort’s management.
