Malpe: Congress leader files complaint over false social media allegations

Congress leader Prasadraj Kanchan has lodged a complaint at the Malpe police station, alleging that certain miscreants are spreading false information about him on social media in an attempt to defame him.

In his complaint, Kanchan stated that the allegations stem from an incident during the Dasara celebrations at Ucchila Mahalakshmi Temple, where a Muslim community member was honored. He explained that he is being falsely accused of being responsible for the recognition of the individual.

Additionally, during the recent assembly elections, a doctored photo of him visiting a mosque was circulated on social media, further tarnishing his reputation.

Kanchan has urged the authorities to take action against those responsible for these defamatory acts.
