Malpe: Engine problem detected on a boat headed for fishing, major tragedy averted

Major engine issue was detected on a boat just in time before it headed for fishing in Malpe on Wednesday, Aug 26.
It is said that the boat named Krishna headed for fishing from Malpe on Tuesday, August 25 and when it reached Bhatkal, fishermen noticed that there were problems in the engine of the boat on Wednesday, Aug 26.
The issue was caused due to the water being pumped into the engine. There were seven people on the boat and they immediately called for help. Owner of the boat claimed that all of them are now safe.
