Despite continuous rain throughout the day, a large number of tourists flocked to Malpe Beach on Sunday, taking advantage of the weekend.
Due to the monsoon season, the authorities have imposed restrictions on entering the sea. A net has been installed along the beach to prevent tourists from entering the water, and warning signs have been placed at various locations.
However, some tourists were seen entering the water in the southern part of the beach, evading the lifeguards. Lifeguards have been struggling to control these individuals.
Tourists Enter Sea Near Sea Walk
With restrictions on entering the water at the main beach, tourists were seen enjoying themselves in the dangerous waters near the Sea Walk area. Locals have urged the authorities to deploy police personnel in this area to enforce the restrictions and ensure safety.
