Man arrested for blackmailing wife after filming pvt moments in bedroom

Bengaluru: A 35-year-old doctor has filed a complaint with Sadashivnagar police, accusing her husband and his family of sexually harassing and defaming her by filming her private moments.

In her complaint, the woman informed that she had got married to Rithvik Hegade in January 2013 and were living with her husband’s family in a Worli apartment, Mumbai.

She further added, “They (husband’s family) started torturing me in December 2013. His family members would abuse me and pass lewd comments. They also tried defaming me after secretly filming private moments.”

Following the complaint, the police have booked Rithvik, his mother Sucharita and sister Tanushri.
