Man arrested for setting fire to patient in hosp at MP’s Sagar

Bhopal: A man was arrested from Sagar district in the State here for setting ablaze a patient in a hospital. The man had beaten up the patient earlier following which he was brought to the hospital.
The whole incident was captured by the hospital’s CCTV cameras.
The burn victim was moved to the Bundelkhand Medical College in Sagar district for burns treatment where his condition was reported to be stable.
The video shows the attacker identified as Milan Rajak moving in the hospital lobby and setting fire to a patient with a lighter.
Rajak had allegedly used petrol to set the fire.
A case was registered against Rajak at the district’s Gopalganj police station under Section 307 of the IPC.
The reason for the attack was not known yet.
