Man arrested for supplying cocaine

Mangaluru: A man has been arrested by Mangaluru CCB police for supplying cocaine from Goa to drug peddlers in Mangaluru. The arrested in the main accused in the case of cocaine supply from Goa.
In August 2018, the CCB police had arrested five suspects near Maroli, Mangaluru East police station limits and confiscated cocaine worth Rs 70,000, three cars, cash and mobile phones from them. However, the person who supplied cocaine to them from Goa was absconding.
Mangaluru city CCB police and Mangaluru east station police who collected details about the prime accused and arrested Ajmal Pulikkal Mohammed (44), who stays at present at Ana Vaddo, near Dokle hospital, Candolim, Goa. He is a permanent resident of Green House, Aiglodi road, Kunjathore, Kasargod.
Ajmal is also has a police case for holding duplicate passport registered against him at Ullal police station in 2008.
Mangaluru East police station inspector Maruthi Nayak and staff and CCB unit inspector Shantaram and staff were part of the arrest operation.
