Man burnt alive in Madhya Pradesh

Damoh: In a shocking incident, a father who tried to protect his young daughter from being sexually harassed was burnt alive here in Madhya Pradesh.

The deceased has been identified as Narmada Sahu, 45.

According to police, the deceased’s daughter was regularly sexually harassed by his neighbour, Sachin Sahu. Narmada after giving repeated warnings to Sachin had lodged a complaint with the police.

On Saturday Sahin along with two other friends barged into Narmada’s house and allegedly poured kerosene on him and set him ablaze.  

Police confirmed that the attackers have been arrested.
