Man deserts family, goes missing

Yedapadav: A middle aged man has gone missing after deserting his wife and three-month-old child. A complaint in this regard is lodged against Mohammed Sameer (35), son of Ahmed Saheb, a resident of GM Road in Badagulipadi of Ganjimutt, Yedapadav near here.

On September 13th, Mohammed had been to Bengaluru via Mangaluru International Airport along with his wife Firdous and infant daughter, saying that he has to attend an interview. On September 15, he called his mother and informed her that he is in Bengaluru. But, since then he has not kept in touch.

On September 18, Mohammed’s wife Firdous arrived at her father’s house in Kaup. After persistent enquiry she revealed that Sameer is in contact with another lady and he has left her and the girl child at Kaup, said the complaint given by Ahmed Saheb to Bajpe police. The police have registered a case and are conducting investigation.
