Man falls into 15-ft deep hole while digging borewell, rescued

Byndoor: A man who had fallen down a 15-feet deep after the land around the borewell that was being dug collapsed suddenly on Sunday, February 16, was rescued after a six-hour operation.
Rohit, son of Subba Kharvi, a resident of Uppunda Fisheries Janata Colony had fallen into a 15-feet deep after the land around the borewell that was being dug collapsed.
Reportedly, the incident took place when borewell was being dug at Maravanthe in order to use it with a handpump.
Rohit, who had come there to watch the operation slid down to a depth of 15 feet into the borewell after the land around the borewell collapsed suddenly.
Following the incident, fire service personnel have rushed to the spot and carried the operation.
