Man gains illegal entry into airport to see off wife arrested

Mangaluru: CISF personnel at Mangaluru international Airport detained a Kulur resident for breaching airport security and illegally entering the airport by using a cancelled e-ticket.

The arrested has been identified as Kevin Vernon Fernandes e-tickets for him and his wife to Dubai. Though he had cancelled his ticket, he allegedly used it to gain entry to the airport to see off his wife who was supposed to travel via Air India Express IX-813 flight scheduled to leave at 8.05 pm.

Kevin who entered the airport by showing his passport and cancelled E-ticket at 5.25 pm was caught while he was departing from the exit gate at 6.01 pm.

He was detained by the personnel and later handed over to Bajpe police.
