Rajgarh (MP): A special court here has awarded 10-year jail term to a man convicted of smuggling poppy husk.

The court of special judge Rajesh Kumar Gupta yesterday sentenced Rajasthan resident Vishnu Kumar Mali for smuggling poppy husk, public prosecutor P N Malakar said today.

The court has also imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh on Mali. In the event of Mali not paying the fine, he will have to undergo an additional year of imprisonment.
