Man held for derogatory comments on Malabar Gold in WhatsApp

Kasaragod: A man has been arrested by the city police for sending insulting comments against Malabar Gold & Diamonds on WhatsApp. The arrested is identified as Bhujesh (37), a resident of Mangalpady, Kasaragod.
Based on a complaint to Mangaluru south police station by the marketing manager of Malabar Gold & Diamonds that some people were sending false and insulting comments about the company in WhatsApp and creating fear among its employees and customers, the accused man was arrested. The Mangaluru south police, who investigated the case, arrested Bhujesh at Kuntagaladka, Manjeshwar on January 17 and seized the mobile used by the accused to send the messages. Investigation regarding those who forwarded messages to him is in progress.
The accused was arrested by Mangaluru south police inspector Mohammed Sharif under the guidance from Mangaluru central sub division assistant police commissioner Bhasker Okkaliga. PSI Rajendra B, Manjula L and staff.
