Man held for five years of imprisonment for assaulting a minor

Udupi: A youth from here has been booked for five years of imprisonment and a penalty of Rs.10,000 for sexually abusing a minor.

The youth has been identified as Satish Naika (26).

It has been reported that, Satish used to sexually abuse a minor girl four years in Shankernarayana police station limits.

The incident had taken place  on January 6, 2014 when Satish had taken the  9 year old girl who was on way home from school, to his house where he blindfolded and gagged her  and then sexually abused her.
