Man held for sensitive social media post

Uppinangady: Police on Saturday arrested a man for sharing “sensitive” social media post having potential to disturb communal harmony in the region.
The arrested, Praveen Gowda, who works as a dairy vendor had posted against objectionable remarks against girls from the Muslim ommunity on Facebook.
A case was registered against him in this connection at Uppinangady police station.
