Man injured after tree branch falls on him while watching Dasara procession

Mysuru: A man sustained head injuries on Tuesday, October 8 after a tree branch fell on him while watching Jamboo Savari.
The deceased is as Prakash, a resident of Udbur from the city’s outskirts. The incident is reported to have occurred on the Sayyaji Rao road.
It is gathered that Prakash had arrived in Mysuru along with his daughter to witness the world famous Mysuru Dasara procession.
As they were watching the procession, a tree branch fell on him causing head injuries. The police alerted the rescue team, who rushed him to the KR hospital for treatment, informed sources.
