Man killed by his friend in drunken brawl

Bengaluru: A man was murdered by his friend as a result of drunken brawl.

The deceased has been identified as Santhosh, aged 28. BP Ranganath and Santhosh were cab drivers. The two along with their friends went to a bar in Peenya on Sunday night. Santhosh and Ranganath started fighting in the bar and the bar manager asked them to leave the place. The two continued their fights outside the bar.

The fight turned intense when Ranganath hit Santhosh which made Santhosh unconscious. Ranganath later bludgeoned Santhosh’s head with a rock and killed him. Ranganath fled the spot after killing Santhosh.

The police are presently enquiring the other friends who were present at the bar during the fight. The police are also in search for Ranganath who is absconding.
