Man killed by his friends over petty issue

Bengaluru: A 26-year-old man was allegedly killed by his friends who slit his throat amid a fight on a petty issue in West Bengaluru’s Chandra Layout on Sunday night.
The deceased has been identified as Raju, a resident of Attiguppe. Raju along with his friends had gone out for a party near Attiguppe close to Vijayanagar. On their way back, they built up some misconception over some petty issue and started fighting.
The fight turned intense and one of the friends attacked Raju and slit his throat killing him instantly. They fled the spot immediately.
The incident came to light on Monday morning when passersby found the body and called the police.
The jurisdictional Chandra Layout police have filed a case. Further investigation is in progress.
