Man killed by speeding buses in south Delhi

New Delhi: A 38-year-old man was today killed by two speeding buses on outer Ring Road in south Delhi, police said.

The man, identified as Manoj Kumar Saini, died on the spot while another biker, who was injured, was admitted to the AIIMS Trauma Centre, they said. 

The driver of the buses were held by locals and handed over to the police. The deceased was identified with the help of documents recovered from him. The family members were informed about the incident. He used to work with a courier company, a police official said.

The motorcycle rider, identified as Shashank (18), was reported to be injured, said Romil Baaniya, deputy commissioner of police (South). The accused drivers Dinesh and Sarabjeet of both the buses have been arrested. The vehicles have been impounded, the DCP added.
