Belthangadi: Man killed in bike-bus collision

Belthangadi: A 45-year-old man was killed in a road mishap near Puthrabailu under Laila Panchayat here on June 28 morning.

The deceased identified as Jayaraj, a resident of Balanja, was working as an office assistant to the village accountant in Nada.

The accident occurred following a collision between a private bus coming from Killur to Belthangadi and a bike traveling from Belthangadi.

Jayaraj sustained serious injuries and died while being taken to the hospital.

Taluk officials visited the spot.
