Man killed in fight over mobile charger

Bengaluru: A verbal spat over a mobile charger culminated in the death of a 35-year-old youth at Mallasandra here on Sunday late night.
The deceased has been identified as Palani, a resident of Vaibhav Sumukh Layout. Police have arrested Hussainappa in connection with the murder.
As per police investigation, Palani and the accused were sharing a room. On Sunday, a fight ensued between them at around 8 pm on the issue of charging of mobile phone. Since they had only one charger, Palani insisted that he would charge his phone first.
An enraged Hussainappa allegedly hit Palani on the head which resulted in his death.
A case is registered at Talghattapur station.
