Man kills his brother and sis-in-law before shooting himself

Madikeri: A 35-year-old man shoots his brother and sister in law before taking a bullet on himself. The incident took place in Kiggalu near Murnad of Madikeri on Saturday, February 3.

Utthappa, a native of Kiggalu had a prooerty sharing dispute with his elder brother from past few years. Saturday morning the brothers’ got into a fight regarding the same. The fight ended up in Utthappa shooting down his brother Devaiah (54) and his wife Prema (48). Both of them died on spot. Later, Utthappa shot himself from the same gun. However, Utthappa was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to the injuries on the way to the hospital.

The Madikeri Rural Police have registered a case and are investigating further.
